Eddie Murphy and Mel B Patch Things Up

After months of drama, Eddie Murphy and the mother of his child, Melanie Brown, have reconciled.

The “Doctor Dolittle” actor spoke about his child openly at the New York City Tribeca Film Festival.
While promoting 'Shrek Forever After,' Eddie talked a lot about his kids," says a source. "Ever since, he's been making efforts with Mel to get to know their daughter."

The two have been feuding since the news of her pregnancy in 2006, where Murphy denied being the father and was constantly accused of not wanting anything to do with their child.

But a source says he hosted a party last week, where Brown, her husband Stephen Belafonte and 3-year-old daughter Angel were all spotted.

“They've both said some really nasty things about each other to the press," says our source. “But Eddie’s ex-wife Nicole helped them fix their issues. Angel is Eddie's youngest child, and Nicole wanted her children to know her. That helped Eddie to come around and get past all the animosity he had toward Mel.”

Selena Gomez Gets Her Diploma

Coming as welcome news, Selena Gomez has something to celebrate – as the Disney star has announced on her Facebook page that she is graduating high school!

“What are the odds,” she wrote Monday. “Today I graduated from high school and got my diploma!!!!! I also filmed my graduation ceremony in the upcoming movie Monte Carlo. So in a weird way I was able to experience an official graduation, LOL.”
To celebrate, Miss Gomez will be traveling for her new movie. “I am off to Budapest to work on my newest adventure, my movie Monte Carlo! I am very excited to meet the cast and get started on this great movie.”

Meanwhile, Selena recently admitted that she is happy she and Nick Jonas ended their relationship because she now has time to focus on what is really important to her.

“I’m happy that is all in the past now,” Gomez said of her relationship with Jonas. “I’m very much single, I’m dating myself now — I think if you don’t love yourself first, no one else will love you.”

Tiger and Elin Woods: Divorce By “End of Year”

While they’re still keeping quiet about their personal affairs, Elin and Tiger Woods’ cold relationship is most likely headed for a divorce by the end of this year.

A source of the couple explained, “There is no arguing any more. They don’t fight. There is a coldness between them and it’s Elin who is pulling the plug on the marriage.”
Both have seen divorce lawyers multiple times, but it is said that Elin is the one putting an end to marriage due to not being able to overcome the affairs. “She tried to put things back together,” said the source. “She went to therapy with Tiger. She gave it a shot moving forward.”

“Elin started to build her own life and once she did she grew distant from him,” the insider continued.

Elin was spotted at the Sony tennis tournament in South Florida with no sign of Tiger, took a trip to Arizona, a trip to Sweden with the children and an adventure to Palm Beach. “Tiger’s return to golf made her unhappy. That’s when she grew cold toward him,” the source said, adding that it was a red flag to Elin that Tiger wasn’t committed to changing.

Meanwhile, the couple is having no custody problems in regards to the children. Elin is renting a house a mile away from the home she shared with Tiger and the children get to sleep over at their dad’s house and spend time with him.

“Elin wants to share custody, she wants Tiger to be a big part of the children’s lives,” the source said. “And both have done a great job trying to keep their problems away from the kids.”

Christina Applegate: Incredibly Grateful

After overcoming tough times, Christina Applegate likes to keep the good in her life and the bad out.

The stunning actress said at the Entertainment Industry Foundation's annual Revlon Run/Walk in Los Angeles, "Stress isn't something I really allow into my life. It creeps in but that's a huge thing, changing my diet, changing my want to make everyday the best that I can.”
The 38-year-old was joined at the event by an entourage of support, which included her mother Nancy Priddy, who was a fellow breast-cancer survivor, friends and 20 crew members from “Samantha, Who?”.

Applegate underwent a double mastectomy, but doesn’t let negativity effect her life. "I fall short. I get into self-pity and all of those things you do ... but at the end of the day, this is the day that I'm living and I need to rejoice in it," she says.

Meanwhile, Christin recently announced that she’s engaged to musician Martyn Lenoble, who she calls her “best friend.”

"This chapter of my life is bigger, better, more exciting. I'm looking forward to everything my life has to offer," she says. "I feel incredibly grateful."

And she wants the planning to be stress free. "We don't even know when [the wedding will be. We're just living right now."

2010 CMT Music Awards Nominees Announced!

They’re the only fan-voted awards in country music, and earlier today the CMT Music Awards nominations were announced.

And, not surprisingly, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean, and Lady Antebellum all nabbed three nods each.
Kid Rock will be hosting the ceremony, slated to air live on June 9th on the Country Music Television network.

In related news, Eva’s Las Vegas establishments Beso and Eve were at the center of speculation as her accountant and two operating partners had a disagreement.

The partners were barred from the property as there appears to be some drama surrounding their business practices.

A source told press, “The biggest misconception in all of this was it was a raid. Eva wants everybody to know there was no raid of any kind. It was simply one of Eva’s lawyers in the company of a private security group.”
