Rihanna Hits Liverpool, Eyes Burlesque Business


She’s always a huge draw, no matter what city she’s in, and over the weekend (May 8) Rihanna was in Liverpool, England for a jam-packed concert.

The “Russian Roulette” babe rocked the Echo Arena before heading out to the 7-star club Bamboo for some after-party action.
In related news, Ri-Ri’s mentor Jay-Z is pushing her to be the face of a new burlesque nightclub chain.

“All the top people think she’s smoking hot. They’re desperate to make her the face and body of a new burlesque club. Jay sees it as a great business opportunity.”

Kate Beckinsale's Mother's Day Weekend Family Fun


Making the most of a beautiful day, Kate Beckinsale was spotted shopping in Santa Monica on Saturday (May 8).

Joined by her husband Len Wiseman and daughter Lily Mo Sheen, the “Serendipity” actress hit up Fred Segal boutique for some new duds.
In related news, Kate has been named #8 in the new Wizard Jeans Top 10 list of the world’s most beloved beauties.

Penelope Cruz scored the #1 spot, with Claudia Schiffer, Kristin Scott Thomas, Queen Rania of Jordan, Catherine Deneuve, Helen Mirren, Charlize Theron, Natascha McElhone, and Sophia Loren rounding out the roster.

Kate Hudson Kicks Off the Work Week


Kicking off another work week, Kate Hudson was spotted on the set of “Something Borrowed” in New York City today (May 10).

The “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days” actress donned a couple different outfits as she filmed various scenes in Midtown Manhattan.
Yesterday (May 9), Kate spent the afternoon with her son Ryder in celebration of the Mother’s Day holiday.

Kate and Ryder both looked to be thoroughly enjoying themselves as they ran through the streets of New York City, laughing as they went.

Faith Hill & Tim McGraw Plan Nashville Benefit


It’s no secret that the city of Nashville has been ravaged by flooding as of late, and Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are planning a benefit concert to raise money for recovery efforts.

Held at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, the “Nashville Rising: A Benefit Concert for Flood Recovery” will take place on June 22nd.
Among the musical acts scheduled to perform are Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, and LeAnn Rimes.

McGraw and Hill stated, "The damage that we've seen to people's homes and the effect that the flooding has had on their lives is unimaginable. But we've seen the spirit of our community firsthand, as volunteers, church groups and our local business leaders rally to help."

"We all need to continue to support those in need in any way that we can, and for that reason we could not be more appreciative to all of the artists, the companies and the people behind the scenes who collectively will make June 22 a truly special night."

Jake and Gemma: Prince of Persia in London


Doing some overseas promotion, Jake Gyllenhaal and Gemma Arterton were spotted at the London premiere of “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time” yesterday (May 9).

Joined by executive producer Jerry Bruckheimer, the “Donnie Darko” stud and the “Clash of the Titans” chick looked hot as they posed outside the Vue Westfield.
Following the big premiere, Jake headed over to the Home House nearby for a swanky after party with industry bigwigs.

“Prince of Persia” is about a street urchin in Persia who is adopted by the king as his heir following a courageous battle.

Brooke Burke's Malibu Mother's Day


Being treated to a Mother's Day outing, David Charvet took Brooke Burke and daughter Heaven Rain out shopping in Malibu, California on Sunday (May 9).

The happy trio smiled it up for the cameras as they perused the racks at the local Planet Blue and Oliver Peoples boutiques.
Along with little Heaven, Miss Burke is the proud mother to a 2-year old son named Shaya, along with Neriah, 10, and Sierra, 8, from her previous marriage to Garth Fisher.

Meanwhile, you can catch Brooke tending to her "Dancing with the Stars" co-hosting duties when an all-new episode airs tonight (May 10) at 8PM on ABC.

Britney Spears: Karate Mom


Ever the doting mother, Britney Spears was spotted taking her boys to their Karate class on Saturday afternoon (May 8).

The “Toxic” songstress escorted Jayden James and Sean Preston to a Studio City dojo with the help of her nanny and an assistant.
And it was a fun-filled weekend for the Spears boys, who were treated to an exciting day at Disneyland yesterday (May 9).

Jayden and Sean were taken around the amusement park by their nanny, a bodyguard, and a Disney tour guide while mama Britney avoided the paparazzi.

Jon Gosselin: Out with His New Lady


He’s definitely not a fan of being single, and yesterday (May 9) Jon Gosselin was spotted out with his new girlfriend Ellen Ross.

The “Jon and Kate Plus 8” daddy helped his new ladyfriend walk her pint-sized pooch around her Wyomissing, Pennsylvania neighborhood, holding hands as they went.
In related news, Jon will be spending time with his sextuplets on their 6th birthday today (May 10th) even though he claimed Kate was trying to keep him from doing so.

An insider explained, “For some reason Jon went out and made it seem like Kate might not let him see the kids on their birthday. But they had already discussed it and Kate told him of course he could see them, and they had reached an agreement. Nobody knows why Jon does this, unless it’s for attention.”

“There was never a question of whether or not Kate would let Jon see the kids on their birthday. It’s a priority for her. She wants the kids to be with their dad and she will go out of her way to accommodate Jon.”

She’s one of the hottest young actresses in Hollywood, and Blake Lively gets her super sexy form - including those gorgeous gams - through lots of hard work.

The “Gossip Girl” babe’s trainer Bobby Strom told press it’s no wonder his client looks so good because she’s extremely dedicated.
“She always looks good,” he explained. And for her “Green Lantern” gig they’ve stepped things up a bit. “She has to do stunts, so we’re focusing on core and strength training.”

Strom also noted Blake’s penchant for Greek food. "You would not believe what she could consume. The Greek fest that she made... crepes with cream cheese in them... we could only eat half of it. She ate all of hers and then went back and ate somebody else's half."

Betty White's “Saturday Night Live” Success


She’s had a long and successful career, and it looks like Betty White is still going strong after her astoundingly funny appearance on “Saturday Night Live” this past weekend.

The “Golden Girls” actress helped the NBC program garner its highest ratings in 18 months, pulling in an 8.8.
Cast member Seth Meyers told press, “She was a dream. The chicks have been ruling ‘SNL’ for years.”

After the show, Betty declined to attend the after party, much to the disappointment of the A-list guests. "Beyoncé was there with Jay, and Quentin Tarantino and Swizz Beatz were also in the crowd. But people kept saying they hoped that Betty White would show up! It was probably just a bit past her bedtime," said a spy.

Sandra Bullock: Mother’s Day in the Big Easy


Making a rare public appearance, Sandra Bullock was spotted shopping with her adopted son Louis Bardo Bullock in New Orleans yesterday (May 9).

The “Proposal” babe shielded her little bundle of joy in a baby carrier as she made her way round the French Quarter on Mother’s Day.
Ms. Bullock looked cute and casual in a beige cardigan/top combo with jeans and a fedora as she tried to ignore the nearby paparazzi.

Chauffeured in an SUV, Sandra also took her little boy to an art gallery to enjoy some local culture.

The Jonas Brothers Rock Out in Los Angeles

2.The name of their Disney Channel TV show has been changed from JONAS to Jonas L.A.
The series will now air on Sunday nights and premiere on June 20. We can only hope the siblings fire back at Justin Bieber during an episode, after that bowl haired singer called the group out for being "manufactured."
