Having to get herself into the best shape of her life, Gemma Arterton turned into a gym rat to prepare for "Prince of Persia: The Sands on Time".
While co-star Jake Gyllenhaal seems to be heaping the majority of body praise, the British actress tells that she too was in pretty fine form.
Miss Arterton tells, “I was in the gym six days a week. I really did have to work hard to look like I do in the film. It doesn’t come naturally. Then it also took me three hours in make-up to look like that.”
The 24-year-old also chatted about the interesting fan base her movie has - as the concept behind the film was taken from the popular computer game.
“They want me to go to Comic-Con,” Gemma recently told press. “It kind of worries me. I’ve had letters telling me I’m not right for the part because I don’t look like the girl in the video game! She really is this sex goddess. They’ve got massively high standards.”
