Shortly after being bailed out of jail, Lawrence Taylor was dealt more bad news - this time to his financial well-being.
After being arrested and charged with the rape of a 16-year-old girl on Thursday morning (May 6), the NFL great has since been dropped by one of his now-former employers, Nutrisystem.
Not giving things time to play out in court, the weight loss company made the decision as a result of the weightiness of the charges.
"Due to the seriousness of the allegations we are severing our relationship with Lawrence Taylor effective immediately," a company rep told press
